External data picker in sharepoint 2010

Question

i have created an External Data column in sharepoint 2010 list based on the external content type i have created. i have more than 1000 items in the external data source.. when i click the select external data in the external data picker dialog only 200 items are retrieved. it is trhrowing sum warnin.."Too many items are retrieved ...." is there any way to increase the no of items in the external data picker?
