Export/Import Site Feature and Rename it

Hello,

 

There's a site wide feature that I need to copy & rename it in the same farm. 

It's composed of 3 parts Core, Event Receiver & Task Reminder.  The Event Receiver is the  starting point.  The feature is active on the production site.  I set up a development site and would like to create a copy of the feature, rename it, and develop with it. 

 

Did a copy & paste on the files.  Renamed them.  Was able to do a build successfully.  The deploy failed asking for different GUID#s.  Read something about import/export and that would take care of the GUIDs.  

 

Any ideas?
