Excel HTML linking
Jun 22 2012 10:05 PM
Quite frankly, I'm practically autistic with computers so I apologize if this question is really basic.
I was wondering if there was anyway for excel to display the values in a certain text dynamically changing text field on a website.
Using
http://www.grandexchangecentral.com/look.php?find=cadantine&search.x=0&search.y=0
as a reference website. I want the value under the 'Current Price' column for the object "Clean Cadantine" inserted into a spreadsheet and for it to automatically update day-by-day in the spreadsheet.
For example, the value of Clean Cadantine is currently 629 and I want to input that number into a spreadsheet and have it change according to what this website displays.
I tried directly pasting in a website link, but that just gives me a hotlink to the website itself.
Thank you for your time
