error of target framwork 4.0

i am developing a project at .net freamwork 4.0 at my system and when we want to host it on iis server at .net freamwork 4.5 then error ocured target freamwork 4.0 in web config file so how we can remove it and how we can host it at .net freamwork 4.5 at IIS please help me
