Dynamic hyperlinks - how do i get rid of underline?

I'm creating hyperlinks at runtime with information i read from a database. I don't want the hyperlinks to be underlined. I tried h.Font.Underline = false, but it did nothing. No styles I have applied to the page in any way has worked. Any suggestions?
