Drag and Drop multiple excel file

Question

Hi all, basically i want to drag and drop multiple excel files on my c# application and have it to be shown with each file name one under another. and also i need the first 2 columns count. please help me out.

Hi, I think you want multiple attachment in asp.net,so in that case you need to use Jquery plugin to upload multiple file. And do one thing for next time,Please try to post whatever you have done to solve your problem,

Thank You So Much for showing your interest Madhanmohan Devarajan, let me try to give you some brief. for example i have 3 excel files, three of them have 2 or more(may be 2-5) columns in it. 1) For for first column i need the count of it and shown as a label on my C# winform, 2) for second and so forth column, i just want to see if there is any data available for the first 2-3 rows. and among any of them columns got any data in it, i just need to know how many column (always excluding first column) have the data in it and displayed as a label on my winform. 3) if i drag and drop multiple files, for instance 5 excel files, i need for first file is - to show its file name as a label, 1 column count as a label and see if rest column have any data in it (if they have, then i need only "no. of columns" (not the count in it)) and shown as a label. 4) when i drag lets say 5 files, i need the result to be displayed as given below EX: Filename:[XYZ.xls] Count: [2351] Customizations[2] ([note: i am considering that second and third column have atleast 1 data in it.])

Wasim, Are you looking for something like attachments (excel files) for any C# form? and the list of files attached to be shown in a grid / list view with count (number of files attached)?
