I am new to this site and wish to know why I am being forced to complete a mandatory share using either a Facebook or Twitter account before I am able to download an eBook. In my opinion a member should be able to 'opt in' or 'opt out' of this C# Corner feature with the default of 'opt out'.
I am therefore unwilling to comply with this 'push' share request until I know what I am asked to recommend and whether it is appropriate.
I would be grateful to receive a policy explanation as to the thinking behind this action because it was not mentioned when I joined or when I selected a Free eBook to download and read.
Note
: It is of interest to note that I was able to examine C# snippets without being a member or having to complete a share request.
I look forward to receiving a reply, thanking you in advance.
Regards
Anthony
