dns access
Aug 25 2004 3:09 PM
I have a windows ce device configured as a web server. I can access a test.html page located on my device using either its IP address or the computers name, "my device". The problem is that I had to manually enter its name on our Windows 2000 server DNS table. Shouldn't the DHCP sever and DNS sever work together to automaticlly register the name? I think that all the other computers on our LAN had their names automaticlly registered. Any ideas?? Thanks, Keith Stallings
