Displaying data from view

Hi

While using entity framework,Is it necessary that,if i want to populate a view with a class(class containg the data i want to display on screen),that class is associated with a table in database.When im creating a view and adding the calss "EmployeeDetails" in controller,I'm constatly getting an error that says: Entity Type "EmployeeDetails" has no key defined.Define Key for this entiy type.Please help!Thank you.
