Disabling stored item from mysqldatabase.

Question

i am trying  to develop an asp.net system using vb language that when you click a button, a value in it is stored into mysql database and that button become inactivated completely, but now i am able to store the value but the button is still active . which codes can i use to achieve my target that wen i log out of the page and login again to the same page the used is not active.
