Developing app that runs on Windows CE 6.0

Question

I developed an app using VS2013/.NET 2.0 Framework and deployed on a barcode scanner with a Windows CE 6.0 OS. When I copied the exe file to the barcode scanner and run the app, it prompts an error and requires the installation of .net compact framework. I downloaded and installed the framework onto the barcode scanner. I run again the exe file but this time the error pertains to assembly or public token. Does anybody knows how this app going to work in Windows CE 6.0 environment? Thanks in advance.
