Deploying Asp.net Web application

Question

Hi,

 

when I used to develop an asp.net website, I deploy the whole site via ftp. The all source code  was uploaded to the host and I used to consider this as a backup code for my website . 

 

Now, I am using Web application  and I publish compiled code (no source code is uploaded) so , is there a way where I can still publish my web application and include all the source code for the web application.
