Date Related Question

Hi ,

I have date in date base like 27/11/2012 ,  this is date i am retrieving from data base and am printing in report,

My problem is to print date in boxes . but it is not printing properly.  actually am printing date in Check Book,  8 boxes are there on that i need to  print date like 2 7 1 1 2 0 1 2 . is it possible or not . and how to get day value and month value and year value from date, here am using datetimepicker.
