Datatable shows when page is put in Edit Mode

Question

Hi,

 

I have used the jquery datatable plugin to display the listview data onto a page. The datatable only appears when the page is put into edit mode and disappears when page is saved. On the page i have used a Content Editor Webpart in which i haved the html file which contains the js code to fetch data from list and display.

 

The datatable is working as required with inbuilt sorting, paging and search but the only issue is it does not show when the page is in normal mode. Why is it happening?
