Datagrid control for insering image and text

Question

Hello all, just starting out in the world of C# .net programming, so sorry if this is a complete newbie question. I would like to create an app that has images in one column of a table, and associated text in subsequesnt columns. This information doesnt curerntly reside in a database. Is a datagrid the correct control to be using in such a case? or is there another control more suited to the task. Also could someone recommend a good C# .NET windows forms mailing list I could subscribe to? Thanks for your help. Cheers Dale
