Hello,
first of let me just say that I do not have some big experiences with SharePoint Portal, so please, be gentle.
Well my first problem is, that I have to use an Apache Reverse Proxy to even access the SharePoint site, which was a real pain to configure, but eventualy I managed it somehow, although it's not perfect, because now I use an external URL, i.e. share.company.com which gets translated to spp-company.internaldomain.com and sent to the SBS 2003, so now when I surft the site from the outside I sometimes get the internal URL back and results in a temprorary resolve issue.
Come to think of it, my boss has 20 IPs and only 1 in use, it wouldn't be too hard to assign a sepparated IP for the SBS 2003, a lot of my problems would become "self-fixing".
The other problem is that I'm facing is data storing in means like, I as the owner of the site, upload some files to the SharePoint site, and then I want to set up that the file get's automatically deleted uppon i.e. 3 downloads, but I would have to give out the URL to the people who would like to download it. Is this doable? How?
Thanks for your time.
Kind regards,
Thomas
