Ctrl-Ins in IE9

Mar 24 2011 11:33 AM

This is extremely frustrating for me. Extremely. There is something in IE9 that is causing the document to get refreshed, which is causing everything I type into an editor window such as this to be lost. Apparently if I type Ctrl-Ins twice in the editor window, the window refreshes and evedrything I have done is lost forever. I don't know if IE9 is doing that or if it is the web site's editor that is doing it. Apparently Microsoft has dropped support of Ctrl-Ins. They have threatened to do that and now they have done it. I assume that IE9 did it and I am not sure but I assume it is only relevant to IE9 windows. I have always used Ctrl-Ins to copy to the clipboard; it makes sense to me. I don't even know what the other keyboard shortcut is for copying to the clipboard. I don't understand why Microsoft has dropped support of Ctrl-Ins. That plus non-support of the title bar is almost enough to cause me to use something else for browsing.
