Question

i am new in c#, in my pgm the dateofbrth.text can acees any value,if user can type any text,it is saved to the daatbase ,i dt want this, i want to check the user entered value in textbox  is dd/mm/yyyy format.if it not want a msg box to show the error.how it is posible pls help me ...
