Cross-platform email transfer

Question

Need an easier solution to migrate emails, contact list and contact list from outlook 2013 to mac mail. I am aware of the mail migration techniques on windows but I have no idea hoe to transfer emails on a cross-platform based system migration. So how do we transfer mails and other data from outlook 2013 over to mac mail.
