Creating Speech Recognition using visual sudio

Dear All, I need to create an Application which accepts the user saved or recorded voice. Based on the voice it must proecess. For example if the user tells a folder name like "open word" it must open msword! Please help me in this regard(using Visual studio 2008). Also please tell me how can create a gadget application!
