Create Restful web service in MVC and call this web service

Question

I want to create one restful web service in asp.net MVC3. Which is Post method itself. Call this post method from class library or called one console application,
that console application return one string value that i have to fetch in MVC3 application web service method.

How this is possible ? can any one provide me good link or example from that i can achieve this functionality.
