create logout hover when user login in asp.net

Whenever a user login into my website then it have the username on the upper right hand side. If user click on that username then a popup or hover appears which is connected to edit profile page. In my website after user login its come to main page where on the upper right username appears which I want Linkbutton like setting and logout.

I want to create thing for my website how can I achieve this. Is it a menu or something else.
