Convert Dropdown to textbox in gridview

Question

I have a requirement in converting dropdown to textbox when user clicks "add new row" button. On clicking that the dropdown data to be stored in textbox and new row with dropdown should be visible to the user. i have two dropdowns in two columns in gridview in which the second one is dependent on first.Please let me know how to solve this.
