confirm dialog box in asp.net

Question

Hi All

      I had designed a webapplication in that i had created some validations , now the thing is I want to give a validation on save button. do you wish to continue? i tried using one method but it is working on development environment when i deployed it it not working on cllient server.

is there any way to give a pop-up--window , the reqiurement is on my save buttoon it has to check the condition i have if else , so if condition satisfies it has to give a input message do you wish to continue


any help greatly appreciated
