I have installed sharepoint 2013 in as (2 WebFrontEnd, 2 Application) now when I check using powershell, (get-spserver | ft name, role) it gives me back that all the servers are application servers! now I found that I can change the server role by powershell, $a=get-spserver | ?{$_.name –eq “ServerName”}$a.role = “Web”
Note: while running the configuration wizard, in the advanced settings I checked "Do not host"
but obviously that was not enough.
what do you think?? is there any other way of doing the same?? or only stopping services is enough?
