Compiling for an older version of .net framework
Sep 20 2004 9:21 PM
Hey ladies and gentlemen, I was trying out the new version of visual studio 2005 beta, and created a neat application I would like to continue using. Unfortunately, because I used 2005 beta, I can't use the application without installing .net framework 2.0 beta on the machines I want to run this on. As much as I like running beta code on production machines, I don't really want to install the beta framework. Anyone know how I can compile the application for framework 1.1? I didn't use any special features in 2005, so I wouldn't think it would be a problem, except I can't find anything on how. I've tried loading the project in other versions of visual studio, but it's a no go. They won't even read the forms in if I add them to the project. Actually, they do, but the forms are blank. Help!
