Comparing two documents in web application asp.net

In my web application, I need to compare two Templates based on the base template. while comparing in my base document have Date field like XX aug 2016 when the user enter the text into another document he takes Date 30 aug 2016 it will compare and shows 30 is wrong and instead of XX displaying 30 is it how to compare this one.

Can anyone help me
