COBOL Programmers / Developers with Banking experience Legacy professional’s welcome (Contract and Contract to Perm) I'm actively looking for several Programmers / Developers that are experienced with the COBOL programming language. The selected candidates must have hands on experience in the banking industry and experienced on IBM, AS 400, Sun Solaris and Micro Focus hardware using COBOL as the development language. This is a combination of new development and requires a high degree of experience in developing banking software. In this position, you will be responsible for producing and delivering fully tested computer programs from business requirements on time, and according to specifications. This includes creating appropriate program documentation, and addressing operational and program discrepancies on schedule, within prescribed limits, and in accordance with client requirements. You will be required to apply technical knowledge and skills to complete and document complex projects. Required Skills: ***************MUST HAVE BANKING EXPERIENCE************** This is initially a contract position but will convert to a permanent position for the selected candidates after 6 months. A great time for all legacy developers that still have the knowledge and experience to find employment in Florida.
