Im getting an error during installation of Visual Studio 2005. The following is the error
Microsoft CLR Debugger
Cannot find one or more components. Please reinstall the application.
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling again and the same problem. I repaired my .Net 2.0 runtime and still get the same problem.
Actually I already had Visual Studio 2005 installed and running fine. My computer just froze and I had to do a reboot. Visual Studio 2005 was open and running at that time. After rebooting, when I tried to start Visual Studio 2005, I got the above error. I repaired the installation and again got the same error. I also uninstalled and then installed, but no luck.
This is turning out to be very frustrating. Will really appreciate any help on the above.
