choosing programming model in asp.net

Question

i choose to begun my career in asp.net,,  but i am confused a bit among the different programming models of asp.net i.e web pages,,mvc,,web forms etc etc

also there are other famous  technologies like microsoft azure etc ... so where shall i start to get nice jobs in mnc's ......where to start....
