Choosing ASP.Net or WPF Browser Application

Our firm is planning to build a banking application...We are puzzled with technology to use Asp.Net or Wpf Browser application.Our application could be a heavy one ,,, so which technology would be suitable ...Please let me the pros and cons of both the technology and please let us know about your preffered one..Any suggestions are appreciated thanks.....
