hi all i am trying to make a chat program between two computers in my network how can i geth the ip number of the otjer host in the netwok to connect to i tested the program with the loopback ip..............127.0.0.1 but i need to make the cliend able to get the ip from a comboBox .......which gets the collection of the ips in the network also what if i wanna replace these ips...in combobox with the names of computers in the network thanks for help
