chat application in signal r using database

i want to create chat application which will be one way chat .like team leader send messages to all its team memeber like wise senior manager send messages to all its  team leader or team leader team member also. i also want to share files and i want if any team member is on leave then he can check messages from history .i also want to store all  this messages in db forrecords ..please guide me how can i make this web appliation in signal R . it will be really helpful for me
