Chart Webpart not fully functional in SharePoint 2013

Question

Hello All,

 

I followed the steps in this blog (https://www.c-sharpcorner.com/blogs/sharepoint-2013-chart-web-part-missing) to render charts in SharePoint 2013. However, I am not able to configure the fields to be read in axes. Only numeric fields are accepted. Could someone please help
