Change the text value in a control in a Master page

Question

Hello,

I have a header user control (.ascx) in a Master Page that I want to change the text of by the individual page.

 

I haven't seemed to be able to reference it directly to change the text.

 

If I set the control with a global property, how to I reference it from the page since they are in 2 different sections of the Master page?
