Change the default path of nuget package

Question

Hi everyone

Whenever we install any nuget package, it saves to its default location %userprofile%\.nuget\packages.  As I am running out of space at that disk so I want to change the location of it.

 

Searched google but could able to find the proper solution (its difficult to understand). can anyone tell me how to change the default location to a new one.
