change the Connection string in Linq

I used the "linq to sql" to connect to the server

and retrieve some data ,

but i have one problem that , when i used this program in client System in the network , and the database

is in server , i can't connect it.

I know that i must change the "conncetin string" to do this , and i know the" linq to sql

" class was saved the "connection string" ,that use to connect to the server into (App.confiq & Properties.Setting)

I dont know which one of them , i must be change (App.config or Properties.Setting )

and how ?

I forgat that say , I Useed the C# to write this App.

excuse me sam , Are u understand my goal ? and what i want to do ?
if yes , what s your opinion ? what's your solution ?

Oooohhhhh, communication can sometimes be frustrating.

I am trying to say that you can't do both; change it permanently and also change it during execution.

Do you want to change the connection string permanently in the sense that it will always be the new connection string until you change it, or do you need to change it during execution? The choice of whether to use App.confiq or Properties.Setting I think depends on the answer to his question.
