capturing click event & retreving that clicked value in DATA GRID???

Question

we are building asp.net web application in C#. we r coding in source code v dont have good idea abt HTML coding so plzzzzzzzzz reply in C# coding .
we had a grid in which we fill data from SQL DB on on load .then v have an Hyper lInk column in that grid ..... before switching to the page whose link is given in that particular clicked cell of Hyper linked column we want to capture the value of that particular clicked cell in a string so that v may fill the next grid given on that linked page according to the value of that clicked cell.
