Can't I make a simple dot using the Grapics class?

The only other way I can think of using graphics would be to create a very small Bitmap:

using (Bitmap bmp = new Bitmap(1, 1)) // or whatever size you want

{

bmp.SetPixel(0, 0, Color.Black)

grfx.DrawImage(bmp, x, y);

}

but it sounds from your opening post as though that's what you're doing already.

A possible non-graphical solution would be to use a small label with its Text property set to a dot or several dots, appropriately spaced out.

Yeah. I know but it doesn't look good. As I have a lot of points close to each other, and the ellipses look different depending on position.

You could try drawing an ellipse or rectangle with a very small height and width.
