Can't install visual studio

I have the setup of visual studio 2013 and I use Windows 7 ultimate os but whenever I am trying to install visual studio in my pc it is showing "The version of your windows is too old and it is not compatible with the software". What should I do now. Is it possible to install visual studio 2013 in windows 7 ?
