Can Website talk to another Server "Service" application
Nov 9 2009 3:43 PM
Is it possible to have a webform that upon submission fires a server application in a protected environment to receive the webform data, and process it, without further regard to the web or http app. In other words, a client / server system where the website is the client, and the server runs behind firewalls preferably without open ports to the server. The web portion needs to be able to run on a typical hosting companies .NET 3.5 installation. I'm in 2008 Standard. Thanks for your thought! Dan
