can somepone help me for this project... regarding image in gridview

Question

hello friends, again i have a doubt.
1. i have a requirement of showing images in gridview , when i click image in a gridview the image should open in a new window or like pop up window..

here what i did is , i displayed in a gridview with imagemap, when i clicked the imagemap, it redirects to the 2nd page,

now i dont know how to retrieve the image  in a separate image tool what i clicked in the gridview,  and in the right side i want to display the discription... so can anyone do..
also if possible can say how to open in a pop up or iframe like that..
can anyone help me this..
