can i use normal website as a share point site like share point default templates

Question

please any body help me,
 can i use normal website dveloped by using .net or other technology as ashare point site menas share poitn template with all database transactions...
         suppose i have one localsite with database,can i use that site as sharepoint template means  can i get that site as sharepoint site in Central admin ..
