Can I make tally like accounting software in C#.NET?UI prt.

Question

I want to develop a small accounting software using c#.Net Windows Form.
So I wanted to ask that if it possible to get the UI similar to Tally Accounting software, i.e the old traditional look with all the navigation functionality.

I have tried to make the text box border as transparent and changed the on enter and exit event to change the text box's background and text color.
I don't know if this is the correct approach.
