Can I add Trainer Experience as IT Experience

Hi Friends, I had completed my Engineering. Now I'm working as Software Developer. After Finishing my graduation i joined as .net Trainer in One Institute and worked one year there. will i add that one year experience as IT Experience ? Share your comments .
