call javascript function in grid footer

hi this is kavita

I have done  custom paging and create linkbutton according to index change. I want to call a javascript function on clicking on paging but it don't. can anyone help me.I m using ajax and gridview is in updatepanel and paging is on footer. if i call javascript like this

result_view.Attributes.Add("onclick", "return pLoad()")

then on clicking anywhere in grid function is call I want only clicking on paging.
any suggestion?
