c#/ado .net/web service

Question

Hi Guys,

This is driving me mad!! 

I can do this no probs in VB, but I can't seem to get anything working in C#

I'm trying to simply call a web service from c# (Web based .net app) which reads data from a database table.
Then I wish to display it on the screen...simple eh? I've done this a million times with VB, but not c#.

I can call a web service (Non ADO) without an issue.

Has anyone got a simple example for me to take a look at? It would be most appreciated!
