button hit count

i have two button .i want if i click on button one the count 1 is store in database and similarly in button 2 it count as one and store in database
also increase in hit increase in database

please share the code to get extended help. I think it's a very simple logic to implement... like onButton_Click() { newValue=prevStoredValue+1; StoreNewValue(); }
