Browse dir/folder by date, zip, and save

Question

can anyone help me figure out how to create a program using vb.net with visual studio 2005 that will automatically select files from a folder or directory by date and time?  I need to be able to enter a date and have the program search a directory/folder, locate all the files that are from date and time entered and newer, zip them up and save them to a location I designate?  Any help is greatly appreciated.
