Bitblt not work in vb2010/.net 4 framework?

Bitblt was my favorite function back in the days of VB5/6, but I can't seem to get it to work in vb 2010 express. Is Bitblt not part of GDI32? Does anyone have a code example of this? BTW, DrawImage is way too slow!!!
